The Call of Duty cycle never stops; even after Mass Effect 3 was released on November 10, there are still unrelenting leaks and rumours about Call of Duty 2024.
Though still a long way off, the premium COD entry that comes after MW3 is anticipated to transport players back to the Black Ops series. This is all the information we currently have on CoD 2024, including the anticipated title, the developers, the location, and more.
Expected Title For Call of Duty 2024
By Windows Central, Call of Duty 2024 will be called Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War.
The development team will navigate through historical events after the conclusion of the previous Black Ops CoD title, which was set during the Cold War.
Developers of Call of Duty 2024 Leaked
Treyarch’s involvement in developing Call of Duty 2024 is all but certain. Bloomberg published the first story about Treyarch’s return as the lead development team on January 22, 2023.
The Setting and Period Leaked For Call of Duty 2024
Call of Duty 2024 is anticipated to “occur during the Gulf War”. It will be “focused on the CIA… examining the United States’ role in the conflict,” according to a Windows Central report that followed Warzone Mobile file leaks that alluded to the Battle of Mogadishu.
They claim that rather than using the same technology as Modern Warfare and other recent Call of Duty games, the upcoming Black Ops game may “lean back into more traditional military combat technology and familiar Black Ops gadgetry.”
Concept Art For Call of Duty 2024 Leaked
Leaker Reality claimed to have found concept art for Call of Duty 2024 in Warzone Mobile’s game files, along with a line that hinted at the Battle of Mogadishu.
Two of the under-development maps are depicted in this concept art. The first is a map with the codename “Stealth”, showing a US military setup in a desert region.
There’s more proof that this scene is set in the 1990s—those familiar with their military history might recognise what appears to be the Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk stealth bomber in the hangar.
The soldiers in the second map, codenamed “Pillage,” are seen entering what looks to be a palace or mansion destroyed by battle.
Remember that Call of Duty 2024 is still in its early stages of development so these designs may be significantly changed or dropped before the game launches.
Engine From Call of Duty 2024
All upcoming Call of Duty games will be created using “one unified engine,” an upgraded version of the IW engine, after MW2, Warzone, and MW3.
The next Black Ops will use the same engine as the Modern Warfare games, but it will still feel different, according to Call of Duty’s General Manager Johanna Faries, who spoke with the Washington Post. They want the MW games to feel like Modern Warfare and the Treyarch games to feel like Treyarch.

- Which CoD had the highest copy sales?
More than 31 Million Units Sold
Released on November 10, 2010, Call of Duty: Black Ops is the franchise’s best-selling game. Technically speaking, the game is a follow-up to World at War, which may help explain why it did so well in sales. Additionally, it featured a zombie game mode for the first time since its creation.
- What Call of Duty game is the best?
Countdown to Duty: Black Ops
We still believe the Black Ops campaign is the best in Call of Duty. Even in 2023, some of the most popular multiplayer maps from Black Ops, like Nuketown and Firing Range, will be remembered fondly because they have been frequently played.
